He was born in 1920 in Denizli as one of
Hacı Mehmet Ali Abalıoğlu’s three children.
He had quit Istanbul High Commerce School
where he went for university education in
1941 adter sudden death of his father and
he had started working.
His business lif had started with tanning
which was his father's profession and he
had done business in several fields of industry
and commerce with his elder brother Baki
Abalıoğlu, his sister's husband Hacı Ahmet
İnceoğlu and his nephews until 1966 and
this collective partnership has ended in
1966.
The company which he had founded in 1966
with his sons Ali and İsmet has become a
Holding which has influence in the economy
of Turkey and which is composed of companies
taken example in their sectors.
Cafer Sadık Abalıoğlu has continued his
move starting with his various commercial
operations and the ginning factory with
Dentaş Corrugated Cardboard Industries in
1975, Er-Bakır Electrolytic Copper Products
Inc which he founded in 1983 together with
Erikoğlu Family, Dentaş Molded Fiber and
Paper factories, Mercedes-Benz dealership
and Abalıoğlu Yarn factory which was founded
in 1991 in the following years.
Besides providing several companies which
have influence in Turkish industry, he has
given many useful services, education to
lead, with the mission defined as "Share
with the society improving what we take from them" in his 53 years of business life.
Cafer Sadık Abalıoğlu passed away in 1994.
